Induction soldering is a special form of selective or partial soldering.

The component to be soldered is heated up by means of an induction loop. The solder is fed by means of dispensing soldering paste prior to the soldering step, or during the soldering process by a solder wire feeder unit. Process reliability is ensured by continuously monitoring the parameters. Induction soldering is an outstanding alternative to flame soldering or the soldering iron. Metallic components are soldered without an open flame at consistently high quality and low cycle times.
